Ok, a poor title, Ben and Masvidal have agreed to face each other. Joe Silva still has to actually make it happen.
Jorge responded to Ben's initial tweet, Ben then asked for it to be at 170 as he does not have enough time for a proper cut. He ended with "I'm your huckleberry." Jorge said 170 was good for him.
Not as good as a Bendo/Brown fight, but a solid last minute replacement.
If a mod could change the title to Henderson, Masvidal agree to fight at UFC 186, I would really appreciate it.

Which would be why I asked for the thread title to be changed, to state they agreed to fight, and pointed out that Joe Silva still had to make it happen.
But I would say that two fighters agreeing to a fight is a tad more than a rumor. A rumor, by definition, is of a dubious nature without solid facts.

Why doesn't Benson want to fight MJ?
MJ is the one calling him out and is ranked higher. as a fan of his that doesn't look great on him. and he is a guy who has fought anyone anywhere.
I hope there is something in bigger in the works for Michael.

That would not be a fair fight. It won't be sanctioned unless Benson is fighting with one arm.

Probably not enough time to cut to 155. He challenged MJ already for another date. A couple weeks ago.

because 186 is only like three weeks away the johnson fight is what people want to see at 155 benson is wanting the fight at 170 since it would be easier to cut weight at 155 thats and extra 15lbs they have to cut. Them fighting at 170 is nothing but bragging rights between the two and not in 155 doesnt move either closer to title contention

if this is in three weeks, I doubt Masvidal's knee will be fully healed by then and if not a few good Benson kicks should do the trick, that thing looked jacked up...
