UFC needs to start being more consistent with their punishments.
Paul Daley throws a half-assed strike at Josh Koscheck after their fight, and gets banned from the UFC permanently, but when Wanderlei Silva swings on Chael and elbows him from his back it is 'the greatest moment in tuf history'.
Am i the only one who sees the sickening hypocrisy here?

I do not like the inconsistency that show up, but this, while not an apples/oranges thing is kind of a bananas/plantains thing
Daley was at the end of the competitive match, after hte bell hand sounded and threw a punch at his opponent; this is viewed as unsportsmanlike and unnacceptable behavior at a sports competition
Sonnen/Silva was outside of a match, adn was a fight between two people at the end of a heated debate/argument/conversation. It was also not at a sports event but instead on a TV show whose format thrives on drama (rememebr that reality TV show that didn't haev any drama and was on the air for four seasons? me neither) Lesnar/Dos Santos had the least amount of drama I had ever seen on TUF and it was generally recieved as abad season, even though you actually saw more training adn life of the athletes
I am not saying its ok and the format justifies it, but the format is what makes the same event despicable in one settting adn great in another. I am trying to think of an example in another context but cannot right now

The same way Tyler Manowaroa didn't get a contract for posting a racist joke and not doing anything about all the racist stuff other UFC fighters (Sonnen, for instance) have said.

Many fighters have said questioneable things, but I can't think of any other that used the words that Tyler did.

I'm not saying I agree with Tyler, I'm just saying that there are noticeable double standards in the UFC, primarily when it comes to Dana making impulsive decisions of his own.

And fair or not, Tyler was not an actual UFC fighter, he simply had the show contract. Think of a job applicant generating problems before he was actually hired.

To prevent him, the UFC would have to go to each SAC and make an appeal to have the SAC refuse to give him credentials to corner. As we found out after Dana threatened to prevent Randy from cornering Ryan, the UFC can't simply ban a corner man.
