How did BuffaloBlue get a contenders fight?

I might be missing something but through UJC49 he was ranked 45. He got 1 win where he won by 1 point and then got a contenders fight. Sounds a little crazy to me. I'm not attacking Blue, so dont get me wrong, I saw he had a contenders fight and said to myself "last week he was in the 40's".

Former Champions were auto ins for the first round of the GP. I had a lot of former champions signup, so i spread them out as evenly as possible. I didn't want one group have the 4 highest ranked former champions in it as it would make that group considerably harder than the rest, which would be unfair on those in that group. Whats best for the GP comes before whats best for the title.

Doesnt seem right, say he won, now he gets another contenders fight and he doesnt belong there in the first place. There are people ahead of him that won by more that have to take the real way to the top.

So, in your opinion, the GP should have been Group A = Title Bracket, Group B = Top 8, Group C = Next 8 and Group D = Bottom 8, forcing the people in Group A to run the gauntlet, while those in Group D have a leisurely stroll to a title fight. f--- no. GP's are ranked 1-32, removing the title bracket which sets itself, that leaves you with 1-24. You think #1 should fight #2 and that #23 should fight #24? Thats just f---ing stupid
Also, for someone not attackin Blue, you seem to be pretty pissed off about this situation

I dont know how you got me being pissed off but maybe if the former champ isnt ranked in the top 25 he shouldnt get a contenders fight. Just a flaw in the system that I bet works its way out next year.

After I saw they were going with ex champs(which there are a ton) and ranks I knew I was out. But got picked for superhulk so I'm good.

I get offers to jump leagues and get auto contender fights all the time.
When you are the predominant figure in fantasy fighitng history that seems to happen.
I can assure you, the last thing Castella wants is to have to put up with me should I win the UJC belt.
