Personally I have 3 bookmarks saved, but I always use the "view your posts" link (watched threads) to check replies to any threads I have posted in. I also have links to the General forum and the OT forum which I use less frequently.
I know a lot of posters use the home page and select each topic from there, but I have never done this as I sometimes lose which threads I have replied to.
I also have signatures turned off and the "mmajunkie" style of the forum selected.
What about you?

Close
to what I use, but I prefer the unread watched thread version to remove clutter of what I've already seen.
13, I'm close to you, I'll check General and OT if not much is happening in my watched threads, but I usually just navigate to them. Bookmark is a good idea, but I probably only check those forums once or twice a day so I probably won't set up a bookmark for that.

I'm trying to get in the habit of using the "
Open quick navigation
" button.
Actually, I use all the methods. latest post, first unread,.....

I'm a big fan of the first unread post button.

I have my account set so the only time I get alerts is when one of my posts gets quoted, so that's the first thing I look at. After that I usually just go to the OT.

Bingo.
I also disabled signatures long ago. Forum looks so much sweeter without that mess to constantly remind me I'm amongst so many ridiculous
children
.

The "what's new" button? I don't even know what that is.

Signatures off is key! I left another forum because the signatures were so ridiculous... had to keep scrolling past the same lame GIF like 20 times in one thread. Ugh.
I go to the General MMA forum and the OT forum for new threads. Or I check my alerts tab to see if anyone responded to threads I am part of. Before events I go to the JFF to sign up there too.

I often forget signatures even exist until someone mentions them from time to time.

Me too. I would keep them on if they were subtle. But they are not. At all.
