Just wondering how often most people go clothes shopping? Also what's the most you've ever spent on an item of clothing? Was it worth it?
I don't shop for clothes often, most of my clothing I purchase online. I bought this really nice jacket once for $100, I rarely wear it because I want to keep it in perfect condition. Maybe I should have bought two cheaper jackets so I get more use out of them..

I shop a lot which may surprise some on here. Weekly for sure. Sometimes numerous times a week. All depends.
I have a huge collection of ben sherman shirts(100 give or take) I like the fit, stitching is flawless and they last forever. Few other brands that i have quite a few of as well.
Jeans/slacks are the same thing. I like comfort and will pay for it.

I probably should pay more for quality clothing but most of the time I'm a cheap-***. Price is factor number 1, looks next, then quality. Sometimes I'll buy 2 pairs of the same pants (because they're so cheap)

I go through phases. I've bought more clothes this summer than I have in a while. I'm not too much concerned with brand as much as I am durability and style. I have no problem at all buying clothes from Target or Old Navy. And certain things, mostly solid colored t shirts and v necks, I even pick up at Wal Mart.
When it comes to casual wear, maybe twice a year, I'm an easy jeans, nikes/boots, t-shirt guy. Have a few suits and outfits for 'occassions', but I find myself buying workout clothes(Nike/Under Armour/Champion) once every 1 or 2 months since I train a lot, and also about 5 pairs of nikes when it comes to that.

I shop for clothes at thrift stores. You can find some nice shirts and pants for a great bargain. I don't get my underwear and socks from thrift stores though I get them from Walmart.
Probably once a month, I'm pretty particular about work shirts and usually buy 2/3 a month, even suits I buy about 2-3 a year and work shoes I go through 3 pairs a year.
For non work clothes maybe every 3 months but it will be about 20% of that months paycheck so I get a fair bit. Last year or so I have really started buying quality over quantity. Equals less clothes but so worth it!

if i'm single every 3rd week just ordered new stuff in l'm a sucker for converse didn't bother going in to get a new pair maybe next week

This for me. Will grab a pair of jeans or shirt if I see something I like. The only thing I really spend a lot on are boots and sandals because I want something that will last a good long time.
I never actually go clothes shopping. But when I am out in a store and there is something I like, I'll buy it. Only if I have a special occasion or need a specific outfit will I go 'clothes shopping'.
But I also work from home in my shorts and t-shirt all day. So I'm probably not the best to judge by.
