The JFC as well as the JEC have consumed a lot of my free time as of late. Damn this is addicting stuff! And then the powers that be, find it fit to go and create their own version of the Ultimate Fighter;Junkie style. and then there's the video wars, the trash talk, the teams, the rankngs as well as the other endless lists of stats!!! It definitely makes sitting down and watching an event that much more exciting!!! I give ridiculously mad props to those that run these leagues-Castellammarese-showdown-kingofabuelos-BuffaloBlue(sorry if I forgot one). You guys go above and beyond. But dammit, back to my point. I curse thee all for yet another addiction!!!

Big props to Arc
Its a group effort for sure. Honestly, not 1 person could do this entire thing alone, without being employed by the Junk to work a 40 hour work week. Since we all have other jobs, and a small amount of personal time, it takes a combined effort of many to get it done. The JFC appreciates everyone whos ever helped out.
When KOA brought me on, I wondered how the hell he did it by himself. Now that were 100+ fighters strong, with multi-annual events, news and rankings, it takes an Army to make this league work, and nothing less.

I have a very love/hate relationship with JFC. I love it for all the obvious reasons that everyone else loves it for. I hate it because, like ThunderCat said, it distracts me from other things I could be doing and takes up a lot of time. I'm actually considering staying up for the Sengoku results, even though I have to be up at 8:30!

I sometimes find myself yelling at the TV during a paperview, yelling at the fighter to not finidh the fight, and yelling at the Bell to hurry up and RING... All because I want a Round 3-ko, not a round-2-ko :lol:

Ha I do the exact same thing. I always watch the PPV's with my buddy, but he doesnt do fantasy fighting so he looks at me a bit weird when I start screaming "Damn it Page knock him out already there's only 15 seconds left in the round and I'm down by 3 points!"

You shouldve seen it in our hayday, when Me, Havok and Mystikhands would be at a BuffaloWildWings with our JFC picks scribbled down on paper, adding up the points after each fight. People thought we were idiots.

Lol I did that for 94, which is the last event I watched at a bar. I had mine and my opponents picks written down and after every fight I'd whip it out of my pocket and start adding. I was there with a bunch of people from my BJJ gym, they were looking at me like I had 4 heads.

Thats why I now email all of my picks and opponents picks to my pda, so I can act like Im checking a text message
Ok I was completely wrong about the staying up thing, I'm off to bed. Checking the results gives me something to look forward to when I wake up.
Actually, this goes along with the "JFC ruining lives" theme: Since checking the results will be the second thing I do once I wake up (with the first being pissing), it will probably set the tone for my day. If I lose I'll be annoyed all day. If I win I'll be in a great mood all day. I can just see me sitting at work pouting, my co-worker asks me whats wrong and I just grumble "nothinglostmyfantasymmafight"

I was a total idiot. I stayed up until 11:30 watching NCAA basketball, then my 17 month old woke up at 3 and I got him back to sleep quickly then I went down to the computer to watch Sengoku
of course I found out it only started at 4 so I watched 3 movies at once until 4 am and now I'm posting at work.
only 11.5 hours to go until my son goes to bed and I can too...
I will be drinking 5 cups of tea today, that's for sure.

The worst I have ever done is like 2 nights with no sleep, just staying up to watch MMA and keep the scores in the JFC
