I feel horrible

I feel horrible.. Last night my daughters were playing. I went into the kitchen for 2 minutes to get cups of milk or juice for them. After I got in the kitchen I hear my 1 year old Lilly crying. I asked what happened and my 5 year old Abbi said she fell and hurt her leg. Long story short she wont put any weight on the leg and cries when she does. I take her to the immediate care and they take x-rays to make sure nothing is broke or out of place. The x-rays appear to be negative for anything obvious and said to give her tylenol and bring her back tomorrow for a re-check. Apparently she is worse off today and she is now in a splint and has to see an orthopedic specialist. I feel like complete scum because she got hurt. I am over protective of Lilly because of all the heartache we went through to finally have her. This couldnt have come at a worse time with a custody battle between me and my soon to be ex.

I accidentally popped my daughter's elbow out of place when she was little.
She was walking while I was holding her hand and when she fell forward I pulled up to catch her.
I felt like total crap but it's not uncommon.
No fracture is good news.
Hopefully the ex won't nitpick on this.

That happend to my oldest daughter 2 times she was little. She pulled her self up inher crib and fell but didnt let go and popped her elbow out 2 times. I feel like hell about the baby being hurt. She has never even had so much as a cold let alone something that hurts her this badly!

Awe Capt....you just have to remember, these kids are gonna go thru a lot, and not everyone can be there everytime....you could've been sitting there staring at her and it might still have happened.
Just try to keep her occupied and happy, as happy as can be that is, I hope they can tell you more tomorrow....sending you and baby an e-hug
