Gonna have to agree with this one for now. I say if they both can win there next 2-3 fights against good comp then they can fight next year. Rory is ahead of him right now especially after what he did to Nate & Pyle.

I think Rory is further along than Silva and I wouldnt make this fight. Rory has taken on veterans like Nate Diaz and Pyle and also taken on the #1 contender Carlos Condit. If Rory beats Mills then he should be taking on a guy like Hendricks or Alves/Kampmann

Yeah, lets take 2 of the biggest prospects in the UFC, and make them face each other, thus sending the loser on an unnecessary fall down the rankings.
I also think Mcdonald deserves a higher ranked fighter. I'm impressed by Silva, but he's yet to face someone who's fought in the UFC prior to fighting him. Lets see him against a decent UFC vet.

It'll be like the Barboza/Etim fight we just saw. That's why I kinda don't wanna see it. I liked Etim a lot. Both were up in coming top prospects. I cant really visualize Etim coming back from that KO to be a potential Champ. Might'a tarnished his image. Hopefully I'm wrong. I don't wanna see Silva or Mcdonald get knocked off the map. Make that fight but not yet. Perhaps we can see that fight when it'll be for a #1 contender spot or even a title.
