He may have a lot of wear and tear, and not among the elite anymore, but h
e's a character, h
e's only 31 years old, and he's still dangerous.
I'm starting to buy into it... a re-dedicated Karo Parisyan could be a Contender in Bellator.
At the very least, he could add excitement to the WW division.

Always been a fan. I hope he has his head on straight and I can see him fighting for a title at Bellator.

I was happy to see him win, but it was Baroni so I am not putting too much stock in it.
I wonder where KP's career would be if he had not suffered the injury that caused him to pull out of the Hughes fight.

I will always be a Karo supporter. He was once a top 3 or 4 guy in the world. He'll never get back to that level but I can see him being a top 5 or 6 WW in Bellator.

To be honest, I was looking forward to see Phil Baroni vs Micheal Page! (if Baroni had won).
Just heard Matt Hughes on MMA Rosted (radio) talking about Karo... he really wanted that fight too.

He is/was a fighter with enormous talent, terrible gas tank/conditioning. He is no BJ Penn, but I have always thought they were similar in approach: supreme confidence & technique - lazy work ethic.
I for one would love to see him fight again and hope he does well. He is the first guy who came from a pure Judo backround & made it work w/o the gi (to my recollection).

It goes well beyond his gas tank. Karo has been battling psychological issues for years.

Karo used to have a great gas tank.. He didn't get the nickname Heat for nothing... As of late he hasn't had a great one, but once he gets back in the grove he could be right there.

Absolutely!!! I might be bias (judo being my first martial art and practiced it my whole life) but in the context of an mma bout, judo
is so beautiful yet very effective.Especially Karo's judo....so dangerous and he totally fight "off beat" (I hope you follow me!His moves are all unexpected and sudden).
For a long time he and GSP were my faves fighters.Plus judoka all have an insane core strength.
I often wonder what his career could have been!
Wish him nothing but the best

I liked Karo up until his little TUF tirade. God he came off looking like an a--hole.

I'm shocked to see positive comments about Karo. When he was on his way out of the UFC, the hate for this guy was so thick you could stand on it. I'm always rooting for Karo. I like fighters who aren't cookie cutter. Karo is a unique character.

I've always pulled for him, and I'm thrilled he's back on the radar and doing well. Problem is Askren is gone and the new Bellator Sherrif at WW is one nasty man. Hoping Karo can continue winning and at least enter the contender discussion. It would surely make things interesting if he does. Dudes got skills and a lot of personality, like him or not
