i'd like to know why my thread was deleted?

i open a thread about 5 mins ago asking why the CSAC waited so long to inform Barnett and compay about his failed drug test and it got deleted. why? what rule was broken?

It wasn't deleted, it was merged with the other CSAC thread

If you ever think one of your threads/posts have been deleted, just do a quick check first. Its pretty simple
Just click on your own screen name and then click on "Search users posts" on the right. This will show you all of your posts

Actually, 90% of the time when I'm at the Junk, I use the "view your posts" link near the top of the screen (under the forum tree, and to the right of the user control panel link. It is a one-click version of what Cast describes. And, when the list comes up, you can see which threads have new posts since you last visited. That's the best way to keep track of where you have posted and the subsequent conversations.

That only shows the threads you have posted in, rather than your individual posts
Say for example, you where to post in a thread called "CSAC: Where they wrong", and then start your own thread called "Why did the CSAC wait 30 days". And then they get merged, you won't be able to see if that thread you made was deleted, as you would only see the threads you posted in. Having already posted in the first thread, it will; appear as though that is the reason why it shows up, rather than your thread being merged with it
