Woman dies after bungee jump without rope in the interior of São PauloBrazil: Workers forgot to attach young woman to bungee cord before she was thrown from bridge - and she was killed
A 21-year-old woman died on the morning of this Saturday (13) during a bungee jump activity in Limeira, in the interior of São Paulo.
According to preliminary information from the Military Police, witnesses reported that the victim was launched from the platform without the safety ropes being attached to the equipment.
Videos circulating on social media show the moment of preparation for the jump. Shortly after the fall, people who were watching the activity began screaming upon realizing the safety rope was missing.
Teams from the Fire Department and SAMU (emergency medical service) were called, but the young woman did not survive her injuries, and her death was confirmed at the scene.
According to the police, six people were detained to provide statements, while the circumstances of the accident continue to be investigated by the Civil Police.
The case caused a major stir on social media and raised questions about the safety protocols used in the activity.

I bungee jumped at least 8 times. you can feel the cord expand and your rate of fall decrease substantially. well she didn't, hopefully it was her first time.
