mmajunkie.com posted that if Michael Bisping wins, then he will face Anderson Silva on November 14th for the Middleweight title in Manchester U.K. What i want to know is...do you think its a good idea for them to fight on a live Spike TV "PPV"? I do and i don't like it b/c yes i can DVR it, but why would they put the middleweight title on the line in a live cable tv event?

They unified the LHW belt on Spike when Rampage fought Hendo. But, most recently UFC 99 was overseas and it was on PPV. Who knows what they would do with this one.

that was free? damn. but bisping pulls in the UK, where it's already free, and AS is falling off as a cash cow, so think there might be something too this now

I would watch this... I can't stand Bisping, and I would LOVE to see AS murder him on the ground.

If Anderson stays boring to watch like his last 2 fights then why not make it free. I think Andrson will walk right through Bisping. Bisping / Hendo Winner should face Marquardt / Maia winner for number 1 contender. Hendo will expose Bisping.

Eh... I can't 100% place blame on Anderson for this. Leites just REFUSED to engage on the feet, and AS didn't want to just jump in on a BJJ artist. In reality, as a challanger, you should be the one pushing the fight, since you have really EVERYTHING to gain.
And, I don't think Bisping would just sit around, and wait for the action to comet to him. He will engage AS, and in reality, get nailed.

If Hendo wins, you can expect them to probably be a co-main event.
Even though Henderson did fairly well in the 1st round, he lost.
So marketing a rematch as a main event wouldn't draw as many numbers IMO at least. Unless they had some good names before which I can definitely see happen as well!

i actually hope Bisping wins, I dont want to see Hendo vs Silva 2. That being said I'm still picking Dan Henderson, I think he can take him down anytime he wants.

I hope Hendo wins and they do give him a rematch. I recently watched AS v Hendo again and it didn't seem like Hendo was in his game. It seemed like it was easy for AS to put that choke on him with no attempt to defend.

3-4 muay thai knees will do that to you. i think he gassed early in round 2 from trying to take AS down, and that caused him to eat a few knees, at which point it was over. he needs to come into that fight with epic cardio if he hopes to grind out a decision against AS

Henderson got his brain rocked that's why. He got rocked on his feet then went in from a takedown which failed then he pulled guard. Then he ate some unanswered shots when he gave Anderson his back. So he was a little out of it on the ground. Plus on top of being fatigued.

I really don't think Bisping or anyone else should be overlooking Hendo.

I'll be pulling for Bisping here. I became a fan of his during his season of TUF. Sure he's a duchebag, but he's charismatic and makes me laugh. Plus I feel like he's a better fighter than most give him credit for. Yeah his fight's aren't usually very exciting but he's a fairly intelligent fighter and he gets results.

I hope this is a joke by Bispings camp!!
"He will take Dan Henderson down more than one time in the fight. He will, that's how he is going to win the fight"

So their plan is to out-wrestle a Olympic wrestler for victory? :?
