This is how it would work. All these numbers are relative to however you want to do it. Im just making up a format.
1 Commissioner
= Dana White,
10 Teams
- Citys that would fill an arena easily. (Las Vegas, Toronto, Dallas, New Jersey, Chicago)
Coaches would be voted by the fighters themselves and ballots with a list of assorted names so you can punch the coach of your choice. Each team would have the same flat salary cap.
14 Fighters Per Team
- This would be done by the apointed coaches, and a fantasy mma-draft scenario.
KO/TKO/SUB=2 Points Uni-Decision=1 Point, and Split decision=1/2 Draw = 0 Loss to decision= -1 Loss by Ko/tko/sub -2
All fighters must fight 3 times a season
unless injured. If fighter is injured the guy with the top record in exhibition and his UFC record will be noted`.
You can get cut for not living up to expectations or be kept. Any additional fights are added to your overall record, and are good for you incase you become a free agent.
So, if you are not in this top 140 you are always fighting for a spot on a team/camp.
At the End of the Season the Championship Team gets a part of the pot, second place gets a cut, 3rd place gets a smaller cut etc etc....
So if MMA were a league and you were Greg Jackson or Whomever... Who would you draft first, and what stradegy would you use to win the League?

We could start it when we got 14 total. Do a random 14 list, and do 1-14 draft then 14->1 back the other way. So whomever is 14 gets 2 picks in a row.
Could make a thread for it and all. So once we get 14 people with 14 picks 2 guys from each division we'll be set. It will be intresting to see how it would look.

Come on guys, you spend enough time on the website reading and jumping in on things. I need 8 more people to fill up a draft roster. Then we will do draft days to fill up a team. Will be easy and time consuming. Both good things

Me and two of my friends started an MMA Super Draft back in May.
Here's the links to the original draft post, and every update since. It's done on my friend's website, I just run the numbers and send a summary of updates to the writer and he gets the stuff published.
