Eventually, we get to know those fighters a little better in the public eye, and we find out that they are total douches. We also find out that those fighters don't actually realize how douchey they are.
Patrick Cummins is claiming credit for making Daniel Cormier cry during one of the most emotionally stressful periods of his professional and personal life. To me, that just feels like a gigantic low blow to a great fighter and greater human being in DC. However, if Cummins' intentions were to come off as the bad guy, then he got his wish, because I already don't like him, and I want to see him get smashed.

I agree but he said what he had to say to get the fight. He knows the situation better than anyone else but most people might put a little spin on a story in order to gain a huge opportunity.
