Where does he land in the P4P rankings?
My guess is #2. It would be 15 wins in a row, UFC WW champ, with several notable wins, including one over GSP.
Also, where would GSP drop to? I think it really depends on how he loses.
(I thunk GSP wins, but this is just speculation that hasn't really been brought up on this forum.)

i think Number 2 but his notable wins are just as good as Anderson Silvas.
I reallt think then he should fight AS. IMO he can beat AS and is exactly the type of fighter AS has not faced and would have trouble with.

GSP is bigger than he use to be, and Jake didnt look big at all vs Kampman. I thougth he looked smaller actually and unhealthy.

As you said it totally depends how it happens. Where did Matt Serra land on the p4p list? If Shields gets tooled for ten minutes and then steals it with a guillotine I don't think that suddenly makes him the second best fighter on the planet.

Serra is irrelevant though. He wasn't coming off a huge win streak, and wasn't currently in the top 10 P4P. Shields is already in almost everyone's P4P top 10, and I think a win, no matter how he does it, over GSP will definitely put him in the top 3. Probably ahead of Aldo due to his resume.
If GSP gets dominated, I think he stays around the 4-7 range. If he gets caught while dominating, he probably only drops to #4 or #5. If Bones Jones beats Shogun, it adds an interesting twist.

If Shields wins a dec it should be just as impressive as GSP's string of dec. Shields tapping out GSp puts him at #2. Shields winning a dec puts him at #2. I think he'd give anderson loads of trouble, it would be the best top game he's ever faced. Thats whats keeping GSP awake I'm sure.\, Shields top game is bar none the best right now.

All I know is I don't want to live in a world where Jake Shields is the #1 fighter P4P.
