Hey, I like watching two skilled athletes compete against each other in the most primal sport in existence. If I wanted to watch someone bear-hug another guy for fifteen minutes, there are loads of websites for that kind of thing.
Therefore, I'm a true MMA fan, because I prefer to watch true MMA, not bear-huggers.

I love this lame comeback. Remember when the NBA had no shot clock and people at on the rock and it sucked? I bet your ancestor was going around telling people who hated it to go watch roller derby if they didn't like it. Fortunately the NBA changed the rules and now it sucks less.

Yea.. the more complaints I hear about wrestlers dominating MMA and using Lay'n'Pray, the more I think that K-1 could totally do well in North America. Maybe Strikeforce should some introduce some K-1 rules kickboxing matches in their upcoming events. After all they are working together with DREAM who are owned by the same people as K-1.

You do bring up a good point though. What Fitch does is currently 100% within the rules. It may not be pretty, but niether is Roy Nelson and they let him keep fighting. Im just tired of the crybabying and belly aching about a fighter who has the capability of taking the fight wherever he wants it to be. Why arent there more people bitching about how the bottom guy just holds on and begs the ref to put him in a better position, or how he refuses to try to get up, or he refuses to learn decent takedown defense. Or better yet, why arent the complainers trying to contact AC's or orgs and begging them to change the rules? I dont get the constant bashing on fighters who utilize a smart gameplan and put the fight where he has the best chance to win.

Exactly! And SF used to be a kickboxing org before they started dabbling into MMA. Why not just drop MMA and leave it to the UFC and take up kickboxing? From the sound of it, thats what alot of so called MMA fans want anyway.
