If you had to fight a UFC heavyweight, who would you pick?

I'd pick Mark Hunt because then I could be in his highlight reel getting KO'd. He'd outweigh me by over 130lbs though.

The only consolation with Hunt is knowing he won't get in extra shots after he knocks your *** out.

Fedor.
The guy got ko'd by a middleweight for god's sake; so hell i might even have a chance.

Soa Palelei. With luck, I probably won't remember any of it.

Junior dos Santos, at least it would end quickly.

Well considering the fact that I'm only 5'8/5'9ish and (when in shape) about 175, I really wouldn't have a chance against any UFC heavyweight.
If I had to pick, I'd take whoever has the weakest ground game. Since I've only ever trained BJJ that's where I'd have the best chance.
Does it have to be current fighters? Cuz I'm pretty confident I could tap Pat Barry

How would you plan on tapping him? He's like 50lbs heavier than you and built like a tank.

I guess Richardson Moreira (he fought at HW on TUF:Brazil 3!)... at least I'd have a height/weight advantage... though, it wouldn't do me much good.

Fedor.
Then I could say I lost to the best ever.

if I competed I'd probably be a featherweight so I'd probably get annihilated that said probably Frank Mir I've got a lot of respect for him plus I reckon he's probably slow enough this stage that I could pull off an Anderson Silva/Demian Maia style strategy before getting KTFO.

You're bigger than 6'2, 216? Never pictured you as being a big guy for some reason

Tank Abbot would be another one I would select because I think I could successfully avoid him the whole time.

Gary Goodridge.
I feel sick going there.

I met Goodridge at a BJJ tournament in Toronto. Massive mitts, would not want to fight.

6'2-6'3, flucuate between 225-240 depending on my dieting/drinking during the week.
If I fought, it would probably be at 185 though.
Oh, and I know I'd get owned by any UFC heavyweight... Moreira included.

Recently? He's got pugilistic dementia now. Tough, tough break.

I'm sure plenty of people on here would be able to beat him up now. Did you see his garden fight?

Yeah but he is still a professional fighter and I'm only an amateur strongman/powerlifter. If it were a lifting competition I would say ill take my chances, but I think in all honesty I'm going to play it safe in that one. I don't want to be one of the guys he knocks out and gets made fun of.

Ruan Potts because he sucks and I would have the best chance against him. I at least have a cardio advantage

That is who I would have said, just try a takedown and then punch in the ribs a hundred times ala Anthony Hamilton. Plus, it isn't like he's ever beat any outstanding fighters and I think he is mainly a submission guy. I wouldn't want to fight anyone with decent striking, my striking is rough.
