that's kinda my plan too.
i've also thought of getting nextel walkie-talkie back and just buying an ipad. i really miss the nextel cause a lot of friends and fam have that feature.

Droid actually has an app that you can do the walkie talkie feature called touch to talk. just an fyi

That sucks...damn to me that is the worst. They need insurance for these things, as great as they are they are weak as hell. And they are expensive.

I can't validate the upgrade just yet.
My iPhone 3G still works great.
It's gonna take me losing it or a new "gotta have" feature to make jump on it.

Despite the early flaws out of the box, the iPhone 4 is a great device. But it being on AT&T make it a deal killer for me.
I'm going with the Sprint Evo 4G. If you're on Verizon, look at the Droid X. A lot of the same features can be had by those other phones.
