Seriously? The ACL is one of the most devestating injuries in sports. Peterson is a freak who's coming back in 9 months is jus short of miraculous. The bright side is once its fixed its stronger than ever, it the rehab and recovery that is the b---- of it.

GSP is a freak too. It just seems that all these elite athletes that tear their ACL are fine in 6-9 months. I know the rehab is a b---- and it requires 100% dedication, but if you put in the work it seems that with the advancement in surgery and rehab everything will be just fine.

GSP already suffered set backs in his rehab.
Do you consider Shogun Rua an elite athlete? How have his knee surgeries gone? He's never had the same explosiveness since the knee injuries.
Michael Redd, formerly of the Milwaukee Bucks in basketball, tore his ACL, never was the same.
After Tiger Woods tore his ACL, he has never been the same.
Willis McGehee has had a few good seasons, but he was basically the best college football player when he tore up his knee. Never had the same burst.
