Main Card:
The main event should be a tremendous fight between the Champion and #1 ranked J-1 Global fighter buffaloblue (16-4) vs. #6 Castellammarese (14-10-2). buffaloblue is coming off his first title defense when he submitted JimmyCannoli in J-1 Global 26. buffaloblue is also riding a six fight winning streak, those six wins have all come by Submission or Unanimous Decision. His opponent Castellammarese is also on a nice four fight win streak. His last three wins have all come by submission. This will be Castellammarese's third try at the J-1 Global belt, he's currently 0-2 in title fights.
In what was suppose to be a heavy weight co-main, #7 metalmike00 (17-8-1) failed to make weight for the first time in his J-1 Global career. Stepping in to face #2 skullcracker4hire aka philh4 (21-5) will be #18 DanielsanFTW (9-6). These two have yet to fight each other here. skullcracker4hire has won 7 of his last 9 fights while earning a Submission of the Night & KO of the Night. DanielsanFTW took a break from fighting here following his loss in J-1 Global 20. He came back has registered two wins in a row over Phillies and m-stray to earn his third main card fight.
In the contender fights we have #3 trig (10-11-1) vs. #12 WarJorge (8-7) & #11 TaperSteve (5-10-1) vs. #10 smcdonald5 (3-1-1). trig has turned the heat up on his opponents after a sub-.500 start to his career. Since J-1 Global 20, trig is 5-1-1 after starting 5-10. WarJorge has fought in 15 consecutive J-1 Global events since his winning debut at J-1 Global 12. He's also won 2 of his last three fights by decision. In the other contender fight JSEAR94 was nowhere to be found once weigh-ins came around. Filling his spot on late notice is TaperSteve, he's has been on a roll of late. In his last 5 fights, he's gone 3-1-1. His lone loss in that span was in a contender's fight against trig. The two managed to earn Fight of the Night honors. TaperSteve is coming off a Submission of the Night award in his last fight against SweetJFromTheBay. His opponent smcdonald5's three wins have been by decision; two of them were split decision's.
