Im really impressed with this guys attitude and sportsmanship, and the way he fights.
Like the fighter alot and see alot of potential, who could dana throw him in against?
hes won 4 out of 5, and the 1 loss was due to a broken leg, hes been looking really good, and in the best shape yet.

It was awesome to see Jay back in the octagon. Knowing him personally, it was obvious he was just excited to be back fighting. To get a slick win in a min and a half was just a bonus for him. Cant wait for his next fight and with no damage he could easily be called back in for a fight sooner rather then later.
Just a note that Jay has fought top competition before:Okami, Leben, Franklin etc.

Yeah its been a while, and the system is a little different than it use to be.< well not really still Danas world, and all fighters are different than they were before. So just thougth he could step again, against some top ten guys.

Totally agree, he needs to work his way back up. I can see top twenty, top ten right away may be a big jump right off the start.

nice to see him back but what justifies him fighting top competition?.......do you want to see him get cut again?
4-1 in last 5 fights........26-18 record.......26-34 record......and 11-7.......those are the records of his opponents that he won against before Saturday.
i have always liked the guy but 1 win from a guy with another questionable record does not mean much.

But hes beaten better competition than before, why hold a guy back your window for opportunity is so long? I like the guy and think hes gotten alot better each time out, and has a chance to stepup, I just dont think dana will quite do it yet, and this division is pretty busy atm

I like him, but don't think he's at the level where he beats top challengers. No offense intended, but he's more of a gatekeeper than a contender.

To be honest I feel the same way. He is a great coach and a great person but I dont see him making a run for the title again. But hey why not give him a little harder opponent next time to see if he still has it.

the idea of him vs the winner of simpson vs miller is not a bad one but like others said he needs to work his way up jensen is probably on his way out of the ufc and was at the botom so another guy from the botom might be for Mcdonald since his last wins well solomon is not a top figther, is nothing more than average vernon white well enough said so i see as a quality win the Horwich fight
working his way up again is the best choice so a miller vs simpson winner would be some how very nice to see it might not make much sense
