Any of the top 15 seeds winning will automatically go to round 2. High scores of the remaining winners will be used to detemine who advances to the 2nd round (16 total fighters). A draw eliminates both fighters from the competition in round 1.
I basically guarenteed anyone with a JEC win that if they won they would continue in the tournament. Additionally I seeded everone with an 0-0 record based off of alphabetical order.
Sorry if you are facing a teammate but this a GP.
The tournament will be reseeded after round 1 based off highest to lowest score, but the top 6 seeds are locked in and they will remain the top 6 seeds till they lose since they started 2-0.

Hey BB I've been matched up with Kam3300 because you have his record at (0 - 0) but it should be (0 - 1) because I fought him at JEC 2
Castellammarese def. Kam3000 by Unanimous Decision ( 29 - 21 )

I don't see why these new guy's are given a better advantage to win the tournament than a JEC vet like myself.They win and they are in yet I am ranked better than them and I have to duke it out for a high score to make it to the next round?I know I suck in the JEC but I don't think they deserve an advantage over me or the other guy's that have JEC experience.

They dont.
Only if the seeded participant wins do they advance.
Example if Gordon wins he auto advances, while if Villain beats him he will still need his score to get in.
Only 15 guys are guarenteed a spot in the round if they win. 21 guys must go by high score if they win.
If none of the top 15 won, then it would go by the top 16.

No problem.
I went back and forth several times on the setup.
If I matched the newer guys up against each other though, that would just give them more of a chance to advance thus leaving the possibility of less JFC alum in the next round.
Therefoe I detemined each fighter that had won a JEC fight would be given the opprotunity to simply win and advance while the other 49 participants would not only have to win, but post a high score to advance to the round of 16.
