GP Finals for JEC Championship
BonzyRFC vs Villian
Number 1 Contender fight
Maddog vs Phenom
GP 3rd place fight (winner will get number 1 contender matchup)
Unspoken vs Recently Reaped
Contenders Fight (winner will get number 1 contender matchup)
Castellammarese vs Jroc
Main Card Open
Couple notes, I will not always have contenders matches, but this time it worked out well.
The JEC will always hold number 1 contenders matchups each event. In the case of a draw, the champion keeps his belt and the loser will either get a contenders or number 1 contenders fight the next event.
Night of Combat is a possible event, but honestly with there eing limited number of events, it will likely be Sengoku 6.

Based on your rankings system, is it going to be the case (like it is with JFC) that you basically have to fight in every event to be highly ranked? Like if someone competed in 2 out of every 3 events but won 80% of the time, would they be near the top of the rankings?

Yeah, you would be much closer then in the other system.
You jsut lost a few points based off when you missed events.
Also, title shots and contender matches will not soley be based on rankings.
So if you competed in 5 of 9 events and went 5-0 you would be in line for a title fight most likely.

I think we should definitely do Night of Combat. Tons of well-known fighters.

Yeah, my only concern is that this event could change sustantially and create a shoxc type situatioon with this org being very new.
That would suck to decide a title and GP on.

That's the same article I looked at. There is at least one ex-UFC fighter in each of the first six fights.

If that's the case, why not just use WEC 36 : Faber Vs. Brown? The JEC was going to use that card anyways, but it got pushed back. Plus, it's only like 4 days after Sengoku 6 would be. Just an idea...

Because Sengoku 6 is going to be nice most likely witth Barnett competing plus MW and LW semi's and finals.
I am going to see how the card plays out and make the final decision.
Another huge disadvantage of Night of Combat is 0 television the night of.
