I think it's peculiar that he mentions that Jesus, peace be upon him, was crucified, even though the Qur'an states he wasn't.

I didn't think it peculiar at all. He's quite aware the Bible, the Torah and the Qur'an, despite the claims of the fervent followers of each would have us believe, are not three historically accurate books.

I find it peculiar how one can identify himself as a Muslim, who believes the Qur'an is the word of God, yet believe that it is somehow not correct.

Depends on how one interprets it, doesn't it? Allegory versus literalism, I suppose.
I would certainly expect a level of intellectual intransigence as not peculiar would be the antithesis of impartial research. When it comes to any faith there needs be a required component of cognitive dissonance - if not, they'd be empirical.

I think he is able to separate his personal faith from what evidence is brought forth by scientifically researching historical records.
Sorry, but that b---- was so dumb.... All she was trying to do was promote the hate for the Muslim religion that is here in America.....
