There are a few big matchups at JFC 11, but none more important than the title match between defending JFC champion, Lightsout84, and challenger, bp.
Let's take a closer look at each fighter a few days prior to the big match:
First, the challenger, bp...
bp (8 - 1 - 2)
Training Camp: Jersey Nois MMA
Ranked #2 -- 40.093 Pts
Here is bp's JFC fight history:
Event - Opponent - W/L - Margin
JFC 1 - Insight2020 - D - 0
JFC 2 - haggis - D - 0
JFC 3 - kam300 - W - 35
JFC 4 - mma>you - L - (12)
JFC 6 - EnderWiggin - W - 13
JFC 6.5 - Phenom - W - 9
JFC 7 - kam300 - W - 16
JFC 8 - Straight_Cash - W - 12
JFC 9 - Celticwarrior - W - 4
JFC 10 - Mamatequila - W - 14
As you can see, bp is riding a six fight winning streak into this title match, losing only once in his JFC career.
bp has predicted a total of 124 fights in the JFC, picking the correct winner in 80 of those predictions, and being EXACTLY correct in 27 of those fights. bp has averaged 94.82 points over the 11 JFC events he has participated in, and 8.41 points per fight.
Now, for a look at the reigning JFC champion, Lightsout84. What else can be said about the champ that hasn't already been stated? His only loss was in a superfight against the legend himself, Junkie. That lone loss was by a narrow 8 point margin. Here's a complete look at the champions's JFC fight history:
lightsout84 (10 - 1 - 0)
Training Camp: Jersey Nois MMA
Ranked #1 -- 44.542 Pts
Event - Opponent - W/L - Margin
JFC 1 - ModestMMA - W - 49
JFC 2 - Straight_Cash - W - 1
JFC 3 - jt1163 - W - 23
JFC 4 - Showdown - W - 3
JFC 6 - Jaeger - W - 4
JFC 6.5 - Junkie - L - (8)
JFC 7 - jt1163 - W - 12
JFC 8 - Danielsanftw - W - 16
JFC 9 - Warwand - W - 12
JFC 10 - jt1163 - W - 15
Probably the most amazing feat accomplished by the champ is his consistent level of superior performance. Most everyone has an "off" event where their score drops off. Lightsout84 doesn't. When involved in close fights, most of us win some and lose some. Lightsout84 has only lost one close fight.
Lightsout84 has also predicted a total of 124 fights over his JFC career, correctly picking 89 winning fighters, and picking the fight EXACTLY correct in 26 of those fights. He has averaged 104.09 points in the 11 JFC fights he has participated in, and 9.23 points per fight.
What makes this fight unique, and rather interesting to me is that they have trained together for quite some time. Will there be an advantage for bp in competing against a teammate? Will their picks be so similar that the fight turns on the smallest of details? We won't know the answer to those questions until fight day!!

If, and when, Lightsout84 ever loses, the person to accomplish that feat will have bragging rights for a very, very long time!!

To add a little more to this already intense matchup, these two share the record for longest winning streak in JFC history at 6 fights.
Bp's is current, so if he should pull off the upset over the greatest (and only) champ in JFC history, that record will belong to him.

So is this like the Countdown to JFC:11 show? You should make a video of both of them e-working out.
