First off, I'd like to once again thank Doug for all of the hard work he gave this league. We were sad to see him leave, but life takes precedence over fantasy. His rankings will live on. I have made a few minor changes to the rankings to better suit the two league setup and to allow for their integration into my databases so they're easier to compile.
1. Doug's rankings gave a lot of weight to people that have fought in all of the last 10 events and made it a bit difficult to move up the ranks with less than 10 fights. With two leagues we would like to make it a bit easier to climb the ranks. Now if you go 4-1, 5-0, 5-1 you have a slightly better shot at getting into a contender's fight.
2. Doug's rankings used a static number for your opponent's strength based on their ranking at the time of the event, but with the database this isn't possible. So the strength of opponent component of the ranking is will now adjust automatically, so your strength of schedule could go up if for example all of your previous opponents win at the current event.
As for now those are the only adjustments. I have been kicking around other ideas, such as increasing the number of fights that count in the ranking to 15 or 20, but I don't want to stray too far from Doug's rankings. If you have any feedback I will take it under advisement. The UJC fighters will remain in the rankings, but only their JFC fights count towards the JFC rankings and they will fall off of these rankings after the next event (have to have competed at least once in the past 5 events to qualify). Separate UJC Drex Rankings will follow once Cast is comfortable with them. Without further ado, the official JFC Drex Rankings:

Okay, I see what is happening here. All of the UJC guys are in the bottom half. I saw that at first and saw I was ahead of Stella and thought that can't be right.
