Check this crazy s--- out -- so everyone knows I pretty much feel like the luckiest dude on the planet right now. Today, something even crazier happened: I was approved to be a voting member of WAMMA, beginning with next month's rankings!!
How freaking crazy is that? Just thought I hope you guys find that as absolutely insane as I do!!
No doubt. Everyone submits rankings, and they all get published. So if you're an idiot, everyone knows it!!
Going to get started on mine soon so I have plenty of time to iron them out before next month!!
Great news congrats king. You know if you guys are gonna include ufc guys as i doubt their gonna recognise the belts or let their fightere fight guys not in ufc

For now, it's everybody. I agree, it will probably be some time before the UFC ever participates. Maybe pressure from the fans would help at some point.
WAMMA makes sense. ONE champion of the world. I hope we reach a point someday where everyone co-promotes when needed!!

Yeah. I should've worked it in better on TAGG. I'm going to throw that out there next time I get a chance to go on. Maybe something for JFC 9.

That'd be awesome. Can you imagine how hype'd Warwand and Mr. James would be? I think it would crash your server. I would bet the Junk would get more members on at one time then ever before!

congrats KingB, how many weight classes are you voting on? ie is 145 and 135 included too?
is there a p4p list you submit?
what resources are you using to help evaluate your list? Sherdog fight finder, fight matrix etc?

That is crazy insane, and the rest of us wish we were in your shoes. By the way, one day I'm going to be involved in covering the sport of MMA for a major media outlet. Right now, I only cover local shows for another MMA site. Eventually, I'll be rubbing shoulders with ya!!

The WAMMA rankings run 145 through heavyweight. But no pound-for-pounds (thank God - how do you justify those????).
I will be definitely be using all resources available. Watching a lot of tape, etc. If the JFC has some insight, I would definitely love to hear it, too. Maybe we should have a "President's Only" WAMMA rankings discussion each month......
