Prediction Affliction Captain Iceman22 has some words with the JFF NEWS
JFF NEWS: Welcome to the studio, ice.
Iceman22: Thanks for having me man.
JFF NEWS: Of late, your team, Prediction Affliction, has been running through the Grand Prix. As a team you were perfect picking winners last event. You're really close to catching Bloodsport in the team rankings. Tell me what it's like in the PA gym before one of the most massive cards in the league this year.
Iceman22: You know, everyone one the team was very happy with the result from the last card. And if anything i think it made the guys want to work that much harder and get to the top. Recently_Reaped is the man that gets it together, THundercat and Pilqs are getting better with every event and really starting to come into there own. Buff Blue is a legend in the game, and with the recent Addition of Avon, i really feel like the sky is the limit. In the Gym right now, the guys are training really hard, watching a lot of film and bouncing ideas around. breaking down every fight and every possible scenario. I see another great event and some more huge scores.
JFF NEWS: I know you don't fight, but what kind of role do you play in the gym training for JEC fights?
Iceman22: Honestly, not much at all. Recently_ Reaped is the guy running the JEC show. and he does a great job at it. Im always available to give thoughts and ideas, put for the most part they are doing a great job, so i stay out of the way and let them go.
JFF NEWS: Do you ever sit down and think "damn my team is great at this, i should try it out?"
Iceman22: No, in fact the opposite. They are all doing great things there with out me and to be honest, i was very average in the JEC when i did compete, i just didnt have the time to put into it, so i figured instead of putting the small amount of time i put into the the JEC, id put all my time into the JFC and its paid off so far. But for me to come back now would just be selfish and take away from the great things they are doing. Its not to say i wont ever come back. Condrab wants to fight me in the JEC so i think that fight is going to happen. And Buff Blue and RR have been busting my chops to come back, after the guys take care of business.
JFF NEWS: You recently signed the rather rotund fellow, buffaloblue. what has that meant for you team in terms of training for the obscure fights in this league?
Iceman22: Look man, everyone has differing opinions on Blue. Everyone knows what he brings to the table and how valuable he is to a team. Some people call him over rated, some will say he flat out sucks, But the fact of the matter is, he has a lot of knowledge and knows his s**t, and any time you get a person like that on your team its going to pay its dividend.
JFF NEWS: Would you ever come to the JEC to fight anarchyelbows in a captain's battle? Maybe on the next Strikeforce CBS card or one of the bigger ones?
Iceman22: Im not opposed to it, but it would be more fitting if RR took that fight instead of me. RR runs the training room and gets everything in order when a JEC event come around. He is very much the captain of the team when it comes to the JEC. I am in no way backing down or running scared, I just think that some one on the team that actually competes in the JEC should take that team.
