Who introduced you to MMA?
My cousin who is a year older than me introduced me to pride when Rampage slammed Arona with a powerbomb. Thats when i really got interested in mma. Then the TUF Series started and our schools wrestling coach would make us watch it(P.E. Homework).
What was the first MMA event you ever saw?
First event was Pride Critical Countdown 2004. Thats where i saw The Last Russian Emperor for the first time. It was a great card very entertaining and from then on I have been hooked. I even own all the pride dvds.
What was it about that event that roped you in? Or was it another MMA event that roped you in?
Well I had been a wrestling fan forever even went to an event where Hogan fought Sting, when Hogan was part of the NWO. I started to lose interest in it because it was fake. Then i saw this and was like damn this is tight. It was not fake at all and the skill the fighters displayed. I continued to watch the rest of the Pride events and some of the past ones, and Sakuraba became my favorite along with Hendo.
What is your favourite aspect of MMA?
I like the stand up aspect the most because it is more entertaining to me with the knockouts. But that does not mean I dont appreciate the ground game, because I do. The ground game can be very technical and people sometimes call it boring, but thats because the people dont know what is happening most of the time.
Who is your favourite fighter at each of the 7 major male weight class?
Heavyweight -
Cain Velasquez
Light Heavyweight -
Shogun, Bonez Jones
Middleweight -
Dan Henderson, Mayhem
Welterweight -
Dan Hornbuckle, Ben Saunders, Nick Diaz
Lightweight -
Bj Penn, Benson Henderson, Anthony Njokuani
Featherweight -
Marlon Sandro, Hideo Tokoro
Bantamweight -
Brian Bowles
Who is your favourite fighter at the moment, and why?
It has to be Benson Henderson. The dude is for real and I have been saying it. He just trains and keeps getting better and better. He's been training so hard and even trained with BJ Penn for his last fight. I dont know if you can even sub this guy. Its like he breathes out of his butt.
Who is your favourite fighter of all time, and why?
Has to be either Dan Henderson or Bj Penn. Ive met Dan Henderson and hes a nice dude. I loved it when he shut the Count up with that beautiful right. Bj is just a monster when hes dedicated, and thats what we have seen these past few fights. He would maul Aoki if they ever fought.
How did you first here about the JFF?
Dan aka Sheerterror introduced me to the JFF. I was talking to him and asked him what J.I.T.S. was and he told me it was his team for FF. From there he told me to try it out. I did and i got smashed in my first UJC fight. But I came back strong after that. I actually got to meet Dan and hes a pretty cool dude. As well as Pat (7time) and grapple.
What made you decide to stay in the JFF and compete on a regular basis?
I like fantasy sports. I always partake in the yahoo baseball, basketball, and football, as well as the ESPN fantasy as well. Its a great challenge to test your knowledge against other guys and sometimes girls/ladies.
What is it like being a part of Team RamRod?
Its great, everyone is always in the gym training or talking about random stuff. We are a very close team and help each other out when one of us does not know what to think about a certain fight(more so the JEC and J-1). Punx is the beast of the team. The guy has the best breakdowns out of anyone I have trained with. So detailed and down to the point of almost every fight. Grapple is the glue, he keeps it fun and likes to kick people out of chat. Phil is a cool guy, though sometimes hes busy with work which we all understand.
Who is your fantasy fighting idol?
I would have to say either Danielsan, or Anarchy. Dansan is a beast and has been tearing it up in both leagues. I got to train with him in the EPK and he legit. Anarchy gave me a chance on his team when i was a noob to the game. He helped build me up and taught me everything he knew and how to train. Anarchy is probably one of the most underrated fighters in the league.
Any last thoughts?
I would like to give shout outs to Team RamRod soon to be best team in the league. As well to Team Bloodsport, I know things didnt go well at the end, but I thank you for the time we had as a team and all that you taught me. Everyone knows their stuff in that camp and their a group of great guys. Also to Tai for helping me train jec when i needed some help, 7time for backing me up when the s**t storm happened (next time an event happens we will know where the signings are at), Sheerterror for being a G, skinny hope you come back to FF soon. And last but not least Elfudge, Cast, Blue, and pilqs for putting in the time that they do to make this league run so smoothly. Oh and punx for picking up the fighter index

You can see pretty thick bruises under Fitch's eyes, so this must be 6 or so months after the GSP fight...
