To many people, this league doesn't mean that much, but when you find a group of people that shares your passion about a certain subject, anything you do that involves that subject becomes extra special. I love MMA- to have been able to share that with you guys means more than I can explain.
I'm happy to have gone out with a win, but to me, the joy was in competing against the very best. To have had fights with Goodcat (before we were teammates), Pillman4, Andre3000, Gordon, srdafish, elfudge35, El-Diablo, a trilogy with osubuckeye4... the list goes on. I'm very proud of that.
I hope you guys find a replacement fighter who's half as enthusiastic about MMA as I am. While my leave is temporary, it may still be some time before I return to the world of e-fighting. As soon as I can, I'll try to get back in contact with you guys. Until then... I'll be busy running and doing pushups...
I hope you guys are do well in my absence, and I'll see you soon.

JFC veteran and perennial contender Smarty has officially signed his walking papers with TXS and is retiring temporarily to serve in the U.S. military.He is about to leave for boot camp and is uncertain about when he will be able to return but vows he will return at some point down the road when he can find the time.He gave TXS plenty of notice and has been nothing less than a class act and an outstanding team mate that gave it his all every event in the gym and in the e-cage and we look forward to his eventual return.
That being said Team Xtreme Showdown is taking resumes for a new team mate that is motivated,like's to train,and is committed to excellence to represent the TXS banner.
