Recently, HE had an opportunity to sit down with JFC Champ M-stray. While HE didn't know much about Mr Stray before this interview, HE left a fan. I would pubicly like to thank MR stray for taking the time to do this interview.

First things first, Silva-FTW thinks you and I are one in the same, care to respond?
m-stray-
I am not the listener. I would have interviewed myself by now.
Listener-
Now more important things, You are currently the JFC champion, Please tell us the road you took to get here. How did you get involved in FFing, What site did you start out on, how did you find your way to Junkie?
m-stray-
I started here at junkie. I listen to the radio show all the time and was always curious about joining in. Goze mentioned on the show one day that if anyone wanted a quick breakdown on how to compete he would show them the ropes. I took him up on it and made my fantasy fighting debut at UFC 121.
Listener-
When you first started, did you ever think you would be in the position you are in now?
m-stray-
Well just starting out I knew I would have success but I wasn't sure on how long it would take. Once I won the JFC title for the first time, it was the confidence boost I had been looking for. I haven't looked back since.
Listener-
Last event you had to fight teammate, Maggotbrian. How tough was that? Did it disrupt the training camp at all?
m-stray-
Maggotbrain and I have had a couple title fights here at junkie. It's good and bad when fighting him. It's nice to get a win over a top notch guy but it's also difficult to hand a teammate a loss.
We have split them down the middle. Hats off to that guy. I always feel lucky if I can sneak out with a win.
Training Camp?
Not sure what that means. I still got blasted an hour before weigh ins and made weight.
Listener-
Looking a head to this weekends fights, you defend the title against Vanbro. What are your expectations for this fight? How do you see it playing out?
m-stray-
I have fought Vanbro a couple times already in contender matches. He always shows up prepared and brings the fight. I expect 5 exciting rounds and my hand being raised at the end.
Listener-
Looking back on the IJFL, your team "Green Wombat Army" came flying out of the gates, but failed to make the play offs, What do you attribute that to?
m-stray-
Losing the last 3 matches. We had a shot all the way to the very end and came up just short. We all could take a little of the blame.
Listener-
The Team GP is right around the corner, How do you and your team feel going into the biggest event of the year?
m-stray-
The Team GP is definitely the biggest event in the JFF. I like the guys that are on GWAv2.0 and I see our team making a run for the 2013 Team GP title. I think we stand as good of a chance as any of the other teams. Keep a lookout for big news after the iJFL from GWA.
