Continuing on with the Team Preview's for the Team GP, HE sat down with Team Blackhouse leader, and Junkie Hall of Famer, El-Diablo. Going along with the quite confidence that team blackhouse shows on a daily basis, Mr Diablo, was direct and to the point. One thing HE knows for sure, these guys are ready for a serious run at the title.

Coming off the IJFL, Blackhouse had a strong showing, made the play offs but came up short. How is the team feeling about their run in the IJFL? Will is serve as momentum for the team GP?
Diablo-
i think it built a ton of confidence within our team. Our team now knows it can hang with all the the top teams around.
Listener-
Tell us a bit about your team. Who is on it, how did it start and how do you feel about the team?
Diablo-
It's fun training with guys that all look at fights differently. We have Vanbro, Ace, Troubleshooting, CoreyMB, Benbadman, and myself. The team has found its groove in the last six months to help us go on a run in the IJFL. I think we are all confident that this team can win the GP. Blackhouse had had the nucleus of Ace, Troubleshooting, Benbadman, and me for the last few years. This past year we added Vanbro who is on a tear as of late and the JFC Champ. We also added CoreyMB that is improving with every fight.
Listener-
HE hears a lot of chatter about team training. What is your view on it and how do you guys train?
Diablo-
I would think we probably have the most relaxed training in the JFF. You have to be that way when you have guys with over 40 fights. There is burnout that happens with everyone around that time. Its hard to get up for every card when you have been picking fights since 2006. This team is the meaning of chill. We train when we want and this formula works for us. If s guy is not in the gym its no problem. You bounce fights off the guys that are in the gym at that time. At the end of the day I dont put pressure on anyone to train for this and that. That formula has always caused problems in the past.
Listener-
We tend to see a lot of movement after the IJFL season, and right before the team GP. The boards are filled with recruitment threads and teams adding fighters. Do you foresee any changes for Blackhouse?
Diablo-
The one thing you have to know about me is that I am loyal. I don't believe in jumping teams. I like to build teams from the ground up and that is what we have here. I get asked to join other teams all the time. Ace and I built Blackhouse and that is who we represent. We are team that has each others backs all the time. Good or Bad.
Listener-
In terms of proving something to the world, what team do you most want to compete against?
Diablo-
We would like to be known as the premier team in the JFF. Who ever is known as the best team in the league I want to fight. (Yakuza, UA, GWA, Chaos, Havoc etc.)
Listener-
Other then your team, who do you think might be the team to beat?
Diablo-
Right now its Team Havoc. They were the regular season champs. You have to give them props. People talk s--- about their team but when you win there is nothing you can bag on.
