I'm a big fan of Joe Rogan and the podcast, but does anyone agree with me that it's starting to get a little stale? He pretty much exclusively has comedians as guests and when they're not talking about random stuff, they talk about the lives of comedians...NO MMA! MMA events come and go but rarely get mentioned on the podcast. I would really like to get his perspective on the outcome of events and the fighters, especially since he's an insider and is so enthusiastic when he talks about fights.

Who cares? If I want to hear pure MMA talk I'll listen to Junkie radio. The Joe Rogan podcast show cases Joe Rogan, his friends and their interests. Occasionally we hear about MMA because it's ONE of his interest but it's not his only or his primary interest. The Joe Rogan Podcast is for people who like Joe Rogan, not for people who like MMA.
I think you should send a message to Joe and see if he gives a f---

I love the podcast... Its always playing in my ears on my ipod on the subways heading in and outta work...
I certainly wouldnt mind more MMA talk
.... The podcast with Bas Rutten was probably the greatest podcast i ever heard... Joe and Bas dug so deep into MMA it was surreal... Bas spoke of fixed fights in Japan and crazy shitttt... I recommend it
Ill admit they get really weird and talk about things like "date-raping a dolphin" and what not

Joe has said much worse to the people who complain about there not being enough MMA on his podcast.

:lol: I'm not pissed at all, I'm just letting you know how it is. I've listened to most of Joe Rogan's podcasts and while I can't pinpoint exactly which podcast he did it on, there have been a couple of times where he made fun of the guys who tell him to talk about MMA more. It's cool when he does but Joe has A LOT more interests than MMA and has said numerous times that if he could only do one thing he'd do comedy, not commentate for the UFC.
The guy is obviously very passionate about MMA, so I'm just surprised that it doesn't get brought up more. A lot of the comics on the show probably aren't too into MMA so the discussion doesn't gravitate to it. All I'm saying is that it would be cool to have a little more variety with the guests. The Bas Rutten show was great and he's had Mayhem Miller on a couple times, but that's pretty much it as far as fighters go. He's tweeted about possibly doing an all MMA podcast which would be great...all I'm saying is that I would like to get his perspective a little more often instead of re-hashing the same stories about being a comedian. :mrgreen:

I must admit I wouldn't mind hearing him talk more about MMA events especially the week after a big card. I also wouldn't mind more fighters as guest. But either way I'm cool.
Sorry for coming off harsh before.
I actually have grown to really like Joe Rogan's podcast. I love that it's not about MMA 95% of the time. There are a million MMA podcast you can listen to. They get stale talking about MMA all the time.
It's true, Joe reacts badly to people saying there's not enough MMA on his show. If you haven't seen the one that has Mayhem on it, you're missing a treat. It wasn't too long after the Houston brawl... very entertaining!
I know there's lots of MMA podcasts out there, but I like to listen to JOE ROGAN talk about MMA dammit! I really wanted to hear his thoughts on last weekends Strikeforce but two podcasts later and nothing :x I still love the podcast and will continue to tune in just to hear all the other crazy $hit they say...

It's funny I literally just got into his podcasts a week ago catching the one with the guy from G4Tv and have been listening to them through the RSS feed and I love the show. Sure there are times where they talk about the same thing but it is still great to listen to. Not every show is going to have you rolling on your *** laughing but every show there are at least a couple good laughs.

I never really understood all the Bas talk of how great he was until I heard him on Rogan's podcast and I was dying laughing of Bas. He is awesome his stories were just crazy
