UFC welterweight John Maguire dropped his 2nd fight in a row after Matt Riddle took a unanimous decision at UFC 154, and now the Brit wants to change weight classes, but it's not the move you think it is.
John Maguire took a short-notice fight against Matt Riddle at UFC 154 and came up short, evening his UFC record at 2-2 following a 2-0 start. He had a significant height and reach disadvantage in both matchups against John Hathaway and Riddle. At only 5'9" and a 70" reach he's already an undersized welterweight, so logically he's making the move to middleweight ... wait, what?

Riiight....so you lose 2 in a row at 170 and get pushed around by one of the biggest guys at 170, so you decide you wanna fight at 185? See you in cage warriors in 6 months!

Who could he even beat at 185? I just looked at the UFC middleweights and I don't know if he can even compete. Maybe Tom Watson in England?
