I think after a couple more fights he will be pushed to #2 p4p. That's a little premature to speculate though.

If he beats Rashad convincingly, I think he gets to #2 on the list easily. Its hard to put anyone above GSP/Silva, but I think Jones is right up there with both of them and its only a matter of time before hes first on the list.

Glad I don't have to work till Mon. I'm gonna have to spend most of my day tomorrow trying to figure out how to pick my jaw up off the floor. I expected Jones to win, but I didn't expect complete domination from beginning to end. That was almost painful to watch. I don't think anyone in the LHW beyond Machida & Evans, although less likely, could give Jones a competitive fight.

I don't see anyone in the division beating him. I think it will take some new talent coming up in the division to even challenge him. It really feels like he skipped a generation of evolution in the sport. First you had the karate vs BJJ guys in UFC 1, then the guys who managed to put a few different disciplines together, then the big wrestling based guys who can take the fight where they wanted, now we are seeing people who are learning the whole thing as one art and Jones is a level past that.

Relax, this same thread was on Machida 2 years ago. That said, I see him beating Evans and then going to heavywieght. In the end, genetics will take him down too soon in this division. I just do not see him being able to make weight in a year or 2. As Grandma would say, he's still a growing boy.
