but on a serious note this is like a jon jones epidemic, hamill, o'brien, matyushenko. though it is interesting that when jon jones got the opportunity to fight a decorated striker: he resorted to doing what he claims to hate now, he wrestled with vera, somebody's being a bit of a hypocrit aren't they? if he gets past bader though i wouldn't mind seeing him vs. a machida to actually see if he'll stand up and strike with him like he's claiming to want to do.

vlad and hammil are not even in the same league of Bader when it comes to wrestling
Hamil is Division 3 wrestler' and vlad is washed up and is near 40 years old
Bader is 2 time Division 1 all american and bader is the most explosive/powerful wrestler he would of faced yet

UFC can't help it that most of their fighters have a strong wrestling base, himself included.

the UFC is full of wrestlers, the UFC is a US based org, and it feeds mostly, well from americans... MMa is a grapplers game, and most sucessful american grapplers are wrestlers... 1 + 1= 2, not that hard...

Well he better get used to it because he'll be fighting Rashad(another wrestler) for the title. And then we will see if he really figured out how to beat a wrestler. And Im sure he'll fight strikers like Rampage or Machida before he gets there.

He just said he's tired of fighting the same style of fighters, he never said "I wont use my wrestling if I face a striker". Your post sort of makes it seem as if thats the way you took it . . . . .
With that said, I'd love to see him fight a striker......but all the good southpaws at LHW are coming off losses besides Franklin.......

He has used wrestling to win most of his fight and now he doesn't want to fight wrestlers? Vlad was throwing big shots at Jones and jones took him down. Seems like the last thing Jones wanted to do is strike.
