why do you say at 230? just say at HW
I dont understand people making catchweights at with a HW fighter?? is not like Fedor weighs 280 to make a catchweight to be fair

"HHH" means Triple H makes his way into the octagon and knocks them both out cold with a sledgehammer. Obviously.

220 would be better, and Fedor either wins with big right or gets dominated gnp.

A big right? Against Jones? I must humbly disagree with your assesment on how Fedor wins. Im not sure he could even get within punching distance of Jones. Stranger things have happend though. So what the hell, im gonna jump on board as well and say Fedor, inverted heel hook rd 3.

ahhh people forget how Fedors skills are still well beyond 99% of the HWs of today
but anyways back to the point. yes Fedors striking is as unorthadox as JBj so yea he can get in the striking range with his wild looping punches or pull of a submission.

Im not sure id say Fedor has unorthodox striking. Maybe wild and sloppy but definitely not unorthodox. Hell, i think Shogun is infinitely better than Fedor in the Striking department and he didnt even have a prayer of hitting Jones. Im still going with Fedor by inverted heel hook.

Everyone that Fedor fights has a reach advantage over him, so I wouldnt take it out of the question.....Fedor is quick enough to get inside and land that right
I think he wins via Sub though, or who knows Jones chin might not be that strong, it hasnt been tested

Shogun was extremely hesistant and Shogun striking is like Fedors in a way except Fedor keeps coming and coming and coming
there are differences in there striking though which sets them apart stylisctly and sets them apart on how each would do against Bones

Ummm....i think you mean his skills were will beyond 99% of HW's 2,3,4 even 5 years ago. Today? That's clearly not the case as has been seen in his last 2 fights.
I agree with mojojo about his striking. He wings his punches. I wouldn't classify that as being "unorthodox" anymore than i would classify someone who sh*ts on a gold toilet as being "eccentric". He still has huge power & if he connects it means trouble for about anyone. But seeing how easily Big Foot was able to shoot and take him down i think he would be in trouble against the NEW BREED of mma/wrestlers like Jones, Cain, etc.
If Fedor lets Jones get him in the clinch then i go with Bones. Not to mention his taradactyl reach.
