UFC vet Jordan Mein (29-10) is coming out of retirement and hopes to fight in October. I just spoke with Jordan's father Lee Mein.

More news on Jordan Mein. His UFC contract froze when he retired so he's still under contract. Has to enter USADA pool first

His father isn't a very good source. I heard that guy has some loose screws

The best thing for him would be to separate camps and business from his father. Sketchy fellow, from what I've heard also.
I'm still a young gun fan though. Good to hear.

Was literally going to ask last week if anyone knew what happened to Jordan after he retired and if he was thinking of coming back. His fights were fun to watch

For a moment, I thought this was about Sage Northcutt.

Maybe in a couple years. It could be a related story. I don't see either staying with Pop's camps ever reaching either guys full potential. Though, from what I hear, Jordan's pop has some 'life issues' and is a bit of a head case. Jordan's pop seems more level headed. I know both have backgrounds in martial arts. If you're talking about building champions, however, you need to train with the best yo be the best.

I can only hope he's doing it for the right reasons, the guy has 39 fights, quite a few fighters have retired with less fights on their record.

Why did he retire in the first place? I never heard. Glad he's coming back again though. Lotta fight experience for such a young guy. always liked him.

Good! Can't wait to see him back in the cage. Hope he rips it up and makes a nice run.

Really? I had not heard that, Adlan was a talented fellow. He can't be too old, so he should still have time to make a splash. Bellator and WSOF should both be looking at him, if he does not return to the UFC.
