First two back-to-back losses after being the #1 contender for the UFC Featherweight Title against Jose Aldo, and now he's out of UFC 136: Houston? Evan Dunham of the Featherweight Division anyone?

Dunham was never the #1 contender, just a prospect. Plus I think most people thought he beat Sherk where as nobody thought Grispi won either fight he lost. I dont think they are the same at all

I think Nam has solid boxing, but can't handle anyone who can overpower him with wrestling

Again, not really.
Grispi - The actual #1 contender to Aldo, goes on to get molested by unknown late replacement Dustin Poirier and, aside from the first 3 minutes, brutally beaten down by former UFC reject George Roop.
Sotiropoulos - Two or three fights from the title shot, loses a hard fight to Dennis Siver after a bad first round then gets knocked out by a wild punch a minute in to the first round by Rafael dos Anjos.
Grispi got brutally beaten down twice. Sotiropoulos' losses weren't really THAT bad in the grand scheme of things.
