Following Nick Ring's horse sh*t decision win over Riki Fukuda and the draw between BJ Penn and Jon Fitch, I was just wondering what judging calls from past and present MMA people disagreed with and thought this would be a good discussion if we could keep it clean...
It doesn't have to be a call that everyone sees as wrong. I personally scored Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson from UFC 93 as a 29-28 win for Franklin, even though the scores were 27-30, 29-28, 29-28 in favour of Henderson.
Other good examples of this kind of debate are Machida/Rampage and Edgar/Penn I. I thought the winners deserved to win, but it's nicely split on Penn and Machida wins throughout the MMA community.
I'll start with a few I can remember off the top of my head:
UFC 93: Rich Franklin def. Dan Henderson 29-28
(Official - Henderson def. Franklin 29-28, 27-30, 29-28)
UFC 104: Mauricio Rua def. Lyoto Machida 48-47
(Official - Machida def. Rua 48-47, 48-47, 48-47)
UFC 114: Jason Brilz def. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira 29-28
(Official - Nogueira def. Brilz 29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
UFC 119: Evan Dunham def. Sean Sherk 29-28
(Official - Sherk def. Dunham 29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
UFC 123: Tyson Griffin def. Nik Lentz 29-28
(Official - Lentz def. Griffin 29-28, 27-30, 29-28)
TUF 12 Finale: Nam Phan def. Leonard Garcia 30-27
(Official - Garcia def. Phan 27-30, 29-28, 29-28) (Edited, I forgot this one, Phan was freaking robbed)
UFC 127: Riki Fukuda def. Nick Ring 29-28
(Official - Ring def. Fukuda 29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Thales Leites vs. Anderson Silva.
I hated that they gave Leites some free rounds. He didn't win any rounds.

I disagree with 50-45 for Edgar in the first BJ fight
Hamill vs Bisping
Nam Phan vs Leonard Garcia
Chan Sung Jung vs Leonard Garcia
I also thought Tibau beat Guillard

He won the round where 90% of it was spent with him on top of Silva. Sure nothing happened from either guy but he did win that round in a manner that makes Jon Fitch look like a prime Wanderlei Silva.
Any fight that made it to a decision involving Leonard Garcia over the last few years has had questionable judging.
Garcia over Korean Zombie - heavily questioned.
Garcia loses a split dec against Hominick in a fight Hominick dominated
Garcia beats Pham in a fight where Pham was dominant.
