This is bittersweet but also in the end it's a great fight. Just don't think they should put JDS in a spot to take out fresh contenders for Cain

Card is starting to fill up, Mizugaki vs Dillishaw, Weidman vs Machida and this but the main card needs another solid fight it feels. Maybe Benson vs Khabilov, Jung vs Lamas? Last couple memorial day cards have been heavyweight showcases so maybe something like Struve vs Gonzaga or Schaub vs Hunt? Lots of guys are booked right now be interesting to see if they can find another good main card fight.

I really don't see where Stipe can win this one. He's not necessarily fast or athletic for a heavyweight, his hands aren't that fast/heavy. I'd confidently pick Junior here.

Golden Gloves champ, Division I wrestler, and played collegiate baseball. Ya, he's not much of an athlete for a heavyweight.

He's obviously an "athlete" but those credentials don't prove anything. I was bringing up the point that fast/athletic for a heavyweight, to me, are guys like Junior/Cain.

I tend to agree, but what's really his other option if he's not fighting contenders, fighting second tier fighters? right now he's ranked #2 heavyweight and has to play the role of cain's personal gatekeeper, until he get his chance again at the title.

Not to mention that the title picture is set until 2015, Werdum vs Browne winner gets Cain sometime at the end of the year, my guess would be the year end show.
