Because you're lazy....And as a thread starter myself, I don't wanna click on a thread that just tells me to click something else.
After a false start,
Johnny Case
is ready to begin his UFC career.
Case will meet fellow lightweight
Kazuki Tokudome
at UFC Fight Night 52 on Sept. 20 at the Saitma Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Just days after Case agreed to fight
Joe Ellenberger
at UFC Fight Night 44 in June, he failed a pre-fight eye test and was pulled from the fight. The UFC then paid for him to have LASIK eye surgery and he is now good to go.
A member of Alliance MMA in Chula Vista, Calif., Case is considered a protégé of
Myles Jury
and will be joining "Fury" on the card in Japan, as Jury is scheduled to fight
Takanori Gomi
. The 25-year-old Case (13-4) has won his last seven in a row. His last loss came against
Rick Glenn
, the current WSOF featherweight champion, in Oct. 2010.
Tokudome (12-5-1) has lost his last two in a row after winning his UFC debut against
Cristiano Marcello
last March. He most recently lost a split decision to Yui Chul Nam in March, although that was named the Fight of the Night.
The event will be headlined by
Roy Nelson
vs.
Mark Hunt
. Also scheduled for it is
Miesha Tate
vs.
Rin Nakai
.
