He's been cleared to train after his knee injury and is looking for that fight in Dallas. They also said he was trying to get the Carlos Condit fight also lol

Kelvin is just doing what Story used to do when he was coming through the ranks, which was request some of the top fighters. He just wants bigger fights, nothing wrong with that. Kelvin is being underestimated here, I think he gives Rick a real fight, he has a chin, power, wrestling and subs.
I wouldn't like to predict who would win if they fight, but to underestimate Kelvin is crazy, the kids young, hungry and talented with a big heart.

nice to see Kelvin want to test himself. the guy has the right mentality and approach. his determination alone will give him the edge in some fights.
but I think Story right now is just a step ahead of him. he's got the best body attack @ WW and has enougth wrestling to neutralize his opponents TD's or go for some of his own.

i watch tuf and was unimpressed with the way he got into the house and his age. but then he just steamrolled through everyone, guys twice his size and experience on that show. even then i didn't think he could beat uriah hall. i'm through underestimating him.

I would reserve the words "SICK power" to only a few guys in every division. Story isn't even among the 20 heaviest hitters in the welterweight division.
I'd ask someone to do a top lock challenge for this fight, but I think I already made one for Jury-Sanchez for this card.

One fight ago I would've agreed with you, but the power that came from Story in his last fight firmly puts him in the top 20 heaviest hitters(maybe top 10). A lesser man than Brian Ebersole would've been KTFO in that fight, his head and body shots were beastly and as Brian has never been stopped to strikes before(I think, can't remember) made it super tough for Story to stop him.
Big step up from his Pyle performance IMO.

Huge balls to be calling out story this early in his career. I give him respect for not wanting to go the normal TUF route and fight 3-4 bottom of the barrel guys. But hes gotta make sure he doesnt aim to high to fast and end up crashing into a wall. Especially with kelvin having little mma fights, he could afford to go a bit slower and log some cage time.
