Kenny florian is my favorite fighter
However, Guillard is a bad matchup for him
Guillard has very quick hands and good takedown defense
I think he would win the standup battle as well
but Kenny is right, Guillard is on the cusp of top ten but not in it yet

As far as the fight goes, I don't know. My heart says Kenflo, because he just doesn't lose except to the best. His 3 losses in his career in the UFC LW division have only come at the hands of champions, or in Maynard's case, a guy who fought the champion to a draw. But there's just that something that Kenny can't quite put it together. I say Kenny weathers the early storm from Guillard, gets the fight to the ground, and subs him.

out jabbing guillard for three rounds seems unlikely to me
I think this matchup is going to happen
makes sense for both of them
and it would be in june perfect timing for kenny

Kenny would wip out his fancy foot work for this fight. I could see him dancing around throwing in quick jabs and leg kicks trying to throw melvin's timing off...much like he did against huerta. Only Melvin wouldn't play around. I don't think Huerta is nearly as fast or explosive as Melvin is. I can see Melvin eventually getting the KO in the fight.

Its a strategy that in my eyes would never seem likely as Kenflo has a lot better BJJ than most of the guys Melvins faced and if he got him down he would likely get the sub. MY OPINION.
