I figured he'd end up there, just didn't think it would take that long to get inked.
Now they need to work on that division by bringing in more talent. They should grab Pee Wee as well, he's not the greatest fighter but could add some much needed depth to the division.

Same, viacom is ruining them. Remember a few years ago when they signed pretty much every top prospect? This year they have signed Yamauchi and Jenkins and that's it.

Yeah, no doubt they offered him quite a bit less when they went to renew his contract. The Bellator HW division is awful though, I think it's a good signing for them. There's not a lot of quality HWs outside the UFC, Kongo is probably one of the better free agents.

Yeah but he has had 1 fight in like 14 months and it was a loss. This isn't some guy on a tear. It was an old veteran who is a top 15ish fighter. If he runs through Bellator's HW division and wins the title, it does nothing but show just how second class Bellator really is and unlike Tito and Rampage, Kongo isn't a big name and isn't going to draw in fans.

I noticed this. Bisping, Rampage, & Kongo all use to have the same management. Bisping left while Kongo & Rampage stayed. Now both Rampage & Kongo are in Bellator and Bisping still in the UFC. I don't know how much Rampage & Kongo make but Bisping has been getting PAID lately, he made 690K in disclosed pay so far this year. Just an observation.

Those wouldn't be the worst HWs to pick up. Any combination of guys has KO-1 written all over it. Plus Lavar wouldn't have to worry about getting caught using roids.
