They don’t need to follow CSAC rules as far as I know so it would be better. CSAC bans grounded knees and doesn’t allow for yellow cards/whole bout scoring.

I was glad to be wrong as he confirmed he’d consulted a psychologist about his offensive yips. He was matter of fact about it. Very reasonable.
Basically he seems to think the lack of personality in UFC stifles his performance though. This is very possible from a psych POV.
He possibly needs the intro and pageantry to release his attentional control.
Also he’s old. That makes flow state less easy to access once attentional control issues begin.
