It certainly can pay very well. I had a few offers, but all domestic companies, nothing exotic. I had some friends who went that route and that's where the offers came from. But I stepped away from the service for very specific reasons and it would not have been good for me to go back over there. It was the right thing for me to be done with that world and I'm glad I left when I did.
