I was browsing the good ol' fasion Internet the other day adn I seen Brock Shooting Star Jump off the top ropes on Kurt Angle back at UFC 19. I thought holyshyt, I remember that, that is still crazy as hell today. I'm talking like it was 20 years ago but anyway, check out this clip of him spinning backwords off the top rope in a wrestling macth. Pretty athletic for almost a 300pounder. It's hard to invision Randy or Cain having the athleticism to do that.
This isn't from Wrestlemania 19 but it's still Lesnar and still impressing for a man his size.

Here's the video in question and it was from Wrestlemania 19, not UFC 19 but I'm sure that was just a typo.

I read somewhere that Brocks vertical leap is only about 2 inches short of Kobe Bryant's. He's a physical freak of nature. I just hope he doesn't need the major surgery and that getting this infection taken care of will bring him back better than ever.

You don't have to like the guy to want him to come back either. First its just human nature to want the best for people when these kinds of things come up, but watching that man fight is something special. The improvement he showed between Mir fights was crazy, and I'm hoping that we get more of that. He seemed like a fighter that really wanted to be a better fighter. Not just someone in it for the money or something, but someone that really wanted to prove he was the real stuff.
And yes, he is the most athletic, assuming his current problems don't ruin that for him.

So since you guys are judging how "athletic" Brock is based on some WWE choreographed stuff he acted out on stage... Do you also think that he needs to start using his F-5 Finishing move in the Octagon too??
Psst:
Wrestling is fake.

I agree. Aside from GSP, I'm not really a fan of any of the current title-holders, but I love watching them fight and I hope I'll get to see Brock fight again.

I hope you aren't truly as dense as you seem based on that comment. That is one of the most massive fails I've read in a long time. Did you even watch the video? It takes a high degree of athleticism to get the height necessary to pull off that particular move. What does it being choreographed have anything to do with that? You should feel embarrassed.

Look, I know Lesnar coming to MMA from WWE is what brought a lot of your kind of attitudes to MMA, but seriously..
Actors, Dancer, Pro Wrestlers all do very neato looking stuff, in very controlled situations. But this topic is "Is Brock lesnar the most Athletic UFC Heavyweight" So I would hope that someone who likes to call other people "dense" could f*cuking read that and then use examples as to what the guy has done in the UFC rather than in homoerotic soap opera TV.

He had to do a vertical leap for his attempt to make the NFL. Lesnar's numbers on most exercises were comparable to those of Mario Williams.

So...are you saying WWE stars aren't athletes? I don't watch WWE, and it's obviously not a sport, but that doesn't mean its stars aren't athletic.
Lesnar is a rare sports figure that combines athleticism and size in nearly unprecedented fashion. The way LeBron James combines size, speed, and strength at the forward position, the way Terrell Owens (in his prime) combined size, speed, and strength as a wide receiver -- those guys are analogous to the way Lesnar combines size, speed, and strength as a UFC heavyweight.
No one that comes to mind at heavyweight in the UFC is as athletic as Lesnar, which is made all the more amazing when considering that he's also the largest heavyweight the UFC has.
Now, are you actually going to offer up a name of someone who might be more athletic and offer evidence as to how that person is more athletic, or are you going to continue this pathetically cliche "pro wrestling is fake" routine.

Uh, you do realize that he made it to the last cut in Vikings camp too, right? After having not played football in ten plus years? Is NFL football fake?
He was an NCAA champion wrestler, too, one of the best in NCAA history. Was that fake?
But heck, I guess he was a pro wrestler, so that means he was never an athlete...
