speculation only....still no announcement, but what say you? who should he fight first? Fight cards look finalized for the next two events so i've got him fighting at UFC 105 on Nov. 14th the absolute earliest, but even that might not be enough notice if they don't pick someone soon.
i think the Dec. 12th UFC 107 card would be ideal since Evans and Jackson are fighting in the main event that night. Griffin would be ready to go at that point and would make for an excellent matchup, although they might not want to give Griffin a high profile fight like that after being destroyed by Silva. at the same time, does griffin really loose any ground getting destroyed by the best fighter in the world? who knows. heres some other thoughts....
Luiz Cane (11-1 and on a three fight win streak)
Matt Hamill (2 fight win streak with his only losses against Rich Franklin and Mike Bisping which he might not have really lost)
Jon Jones (8-0 overall and 3-0 in the UFC)
and......reaaaallly long shot here but.....Chuck Liddell comming out of quasi retirement for this one? what say you?

either could be a good fight....brazilian vs. brazilian would make things interesting, but i think a fight with Vera would be more likely. Silva was so decisive in his fight against Jardine i think it would be a step back for him to fight little nog. I'd be hyped to see Nog fight Henderson in the Octogon if Marquardt gets the nod for the title shot at mid weight. I'm sure Hendo would like to avenge that loss.

i would love to see that and i would have brought it up if tito wasn't fighting coleman already. i think Nog will fight earlier than tito would be ready for another fight after the coleman bout. i hope they can make that happen eventually though.

I can see him against Hammill, Vera, or Jardine, a gatekeeper if you will.
What i want to know is, will he fight Machida? I know Big Nog, AS, and Machida train together, does Lil Nog? This is a big deal, considering Lil Nog def. has the potential to get to a title shot in the next year. IMO Hendo and Lil Nog have the best chance of taking the belt from machida.

yea, its in the article that was linked a few posts before mine.....lil nog says he won't fight machida for the title cause they all train together. both brothers, machida, and anderson silva are all in the same camp. those workouts must be fecking insane. they're like the Millitch camp of the late 2000's. two champs, two contenders....and those are just the dudes that i know of. thats insane.
