If Dana can find some good matchups at MW for Lyoto Machida,he is more than willing to drop down..Silva is out of the question, but Lyoto says he walks around 205-210 most of the year round..With the s--- talk given to team Blackhouse and Brazilian people in general, then Machida v Sonnen sounds perfect(possibly 195 catchweight)..Or how about Machida v Weidman?..That is a win for Chris that would definatly give him more ammunition for a title shot tilt at the Great one..

On second thought, if he were ever to drop down, I would love to see Machida-Sonnen on a card in Brazil. You could hype that fight big time.

That's the fight I would prefer too and that's what I voted for..Machida is getting the shot versus Bones and the general consensus is he will eventually get beat..But what is ironic is that when Machida was Lhw champ Silva wanted to move up,but it wasn't gonna be permanent as the brotherhood and loyalty between the 2 is solid, but now it's the other way round and Machida likes the idea of moving to MW,but Silva ain't because of facing Bones..
My guess is when Silva retires I reckon Machida will move down for good and be the champ..I can't even see Weidman taking him down..

I like Machida where he is... Maybe just maybe he can solve the Bones riddle... He needs to just stay a mile away from the clinch (easier said than done)...

This guy is worse then Acog. Machida Karate rapes Wiedman back to Long Island. The kid has fought nobody, he isn't touching Machida or Silva.

Not mad at all. I just read your s--- all the time about how Silvas scared of Weidman and blah blah blah. The kid has potential, but he's just not the world beater you think he is. He loses at least 9 of 10 to Machida or Anderson at this point.

Machida needs to stay where he is at. I can't understand why anyone at the top in their class would even want to change.

They can't beat the Champion of their weight division...

I think the most entertaining fight would be Belcher or Belfort but I'd love to see him and Weidman tested against each other too.
But by the time he gets his 205 title fight over and done with and assuming Bones wins again and Lyoto makes the drop, Weidman will be champion so there's a good chance we'll get to see that.

I thought I clarified that Anderson's camp is scared not nessasarely Anderson himself.. But why stray off topic here

Well, if he's unable to take Jones and unwilling to make a run at Anderson's title, then he should get used to being the Bald Bull of the LHW division.

Wow talk about "what have you done for me lately".
All of a sudden Machida's the best MW other than Silva after a win against Bader? A guy not known for striking and didn't even attempt a takedown? I don't think Machida looked THAT good I think Bader was just that bad and couldn't keep up. Jones will surely go through him again and I think he'd have a tough time against quite a few MWs including Sonnen/Belcher/Belfort/Bisping/Lombard.
